The most recent seminar of the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Program was hosted by Pioneer Hi-Bred, a DuPont business, at its global headquarters in Johnston, Iowa. Over the course of three days, December 8, 9, & 10, participants learned of the value of communications in developing strong advocates for agriculture. Participants developed their communication skills through interactive class discussion and networking.

Visiting Pioneer marks the first time in its 30 years the program has stepped outside of state lines for a session other than their National and International Seminars. Pioneer has been a supporter of the IALF since 1983 and recently committed to a grant to continue the personal and professional development of future agriculture leaders.
